Introduction to Helmet Automatic Spraying Lines
Conveyor System: Usually, a hanging conveyor chain or roller conveyor line is adopted, which can transport helmets in sequence through various spraying stations according to the set speed and path. The conveyor system has stable operating performance and can ensure that helmets maintain the correct posture and position during the transportation process, facilitating subsequent spraying operations.
Spraying System: This is the core part of the helmet automatic spraying line. Generally, it consists of multiple automatic spray guns. The spray guns can spray from multiple angles and in all directions according to the shape and size of the helmet, precisely controlling the spraying flow, pressure and atomization effect to ensure that the paint evenly covers the surface of the helmet. In addition, the spraying system is also equipped with an advanced paint supply device, which can realize the rapid switching and precise proportioning of various colors of paint.
Drying System: It is used to dry and cure the helmets after spraying. The drying system usually adopts the hot air circulation heating method and can dry the paint on the surface of the helmets in a short time to make it reach the required hardness and glossiness. The drying temperature and time can be accurately adjusted according to different paint materials and process requirements to ensure the quality and performance of the coating.
Control System: It is the "brain" of the entire spraying line. Through the advanced PLC control system, the automatic control and monitoring of various links such as the conveyor system, spraying system and drying system can be realized. Operators can set various parameters on the console, such as spraying speed, spray gun movement track, drying temperature, etc. The system will automatically operate according to the set parameters and feed back the running status and fault information of the equipment in real time, facilitating timely adjustment and maintenance.
Exhaust Gas Treatment System: A large amount of exhaust gas will be generated during the spraying process. The exhaust gas treatment system purifies the exhaust gas through processes such as filtration, adsorption and catalytic combustion to make it meet the environmental protection emission standards and reduce environmental pollution.
Loading: Place the helmets to be sprayed at the loading station of the conveyor system, and the conveyor system will slowly send the helmets into the spraying area.
Pre-treatment: Before the formal spraying, the helmets may need to go through a series of pre-treatment processes, such as degreasing, derusting and grinding, to improve the adhesion and smoothness of the helmet surface and ensure the coating quality.
Primer Spraying: The helmets first enter the primer spraying station, and the automatic spray guns will spray the primer on the surface of the helmets according to the preset program. After the spraying is completed, the conveyor system will send the helmets into the drying system for primer drying and curing.
Topcoat Spraying: The helmets with the dried primer enter the topcoat spraying station for the topcoat spraying operation. The spraying process and parameters of the topcoat can be adjusted according to product requirements to achieve different colors and gloss effects. After the spraying is completed, they enter the drying system again for topcoat drying.
Quality Inspection: The dried helmets reach the quality inspection station through the conveyor system, and the appearance, coating thickness, adhesion and other indicators of the helmets are inspected through manual visual inspection or automated inspection equipment to ensure that the product quality meets the standards.
Unloading: The helmets that pass the inspection are sent to the unloading station through the conveyor system, and they are taken down by manual or mechanical means for packaging and warehousing.
Improve Production Efficiency: It can realize the continuous automatic spraying of helmets, greatly reducing the time and workload of manual operations and improving production efficiency, which can meet the needs of large-scale production.
Ensure Spraying Quality: The precise control and stable operation of the automatic spray guns make the paint spraying more uniform and consistent, effectively avoiding problems such as sagging, missing spraying and color difference that may occur in manual spraying, ensuring the spraying quality and appearance effect of the helmets.
Reduce Costs: Automated production reduces labor costs, and at the same time, the precise paint supply control and efficient drying system reduce the consumption of paint and energy, thus reducing production costs.
Improve Working Environment: The application of the exhaust gas treatment system effectively reduces the pollution of exhaust gas to the environment and the impact on the health of operators during the spraying process, improving the working environment.
Helmet automatic spraying lines are widely used in various helmet manufacturing industries, including motorcycle helmets, bicycle helmets, safety helmets, sports helmets, etc. Different types of helmets may have differences in shape, size and spraying requirements, but the helmet automatic spraying lines can meet the spraying production requirements of various helmets through corresponding adjustments and settings.
